Fringin'

My first post this April! It's been a while huh? Been very busy since that Holy Week, joined a camp (which was great!) and lots of things took place that I wasn't able to sit and blog again. Enough excuses and on to my blog already: Wore this to a shoot last Friday with some students of De La Salle University for a brand feature (from the company I work in) in the Animo magazine. Boy I miss being a student so much, that walking around their school made me feel old. :/ So anyway, it was really hot that day, hence my iced tea that turned into a prop. Summer is definitely unleashing its sun power already here in the Philippines and yes, Im wearing a leather skirt. :I No, not a biggie really cause i think its pretty (a gift from le boyfriend <3) and i dont think any outfit can beat the intense heat, not unless in a swimsuit jumping off the beach! 

 

Good thing there's a little bit of air, you see the fringes move with me! Haha. About the top I'm wearing, it was actually an old dress from years back that i bout from the sale. For most of the time, I use it as a top.

Tough

So given that I'm wearing a camo top above a pair of black leggings with leatherette line details in the side + aviators and studs details on my bag, it's just right that I'm naming this post - TOUGH. And because I consider myself a tough girl even though I don't look like it physically.

I wore this to a normal day at work in the office and then of course since I did field work as well, I was able to pose in front of the camera for this outfit shots. Anyway, I always like coming up wit outfits containing borrowed-from-the-boys elements, it just make the look more edgy. I love this parking space, a perfect place to take photos!

Neon Line

Wore this outfit last Sunday to Church and then to movies in the afternoon with ze boyfriend. Love this top I got before from the Forever 21 sale at 75% off - such a steal! Since the past few days are getting hotter and hotter, you always have to bring those protection for the eyes. As for this one, I got it from SM Accessories in a cheap price as well. You see fashion isn't always about the labels, it doesn't require expensive clothes and accessories. Most important element is you and how you carry them.

Since summer is just around the corner, the hot temperature leaves us with no choice but to wear at least, summer-esque clothes. That identifies with my floral shorts and cool color palette that you see on this outfit. To create some balance with the colors, i opted to use different shades of brown for my accessories - bag, shoes and watch.
