Side Slash

First post this Month, yay! :) It has become challenging for me to dress for work this summer! If i could only wear shorts everyday, i totally would because of the scorching weather. Thing is, i have lots of blazers and sweaters which there's no way i could wear anytime now. :( Sometimes, i already feel like wishing for some rain.  But did I say i love this season? Yes I did, so i just better embrace it while it lasts. Oh, thank God for the sun! :)

The slash on the side is an enough excuse to wear this black top. You know when it's very hot, you try to avoid dark colors. I balanced the whole look out by adding pop of neon accessories and my pink lippy.

Almost a Jumper

WOW. My second blog post for the month of April - you don't need to clap your hands for my inconsistency. Honestly, it bothers me whenever I'm not able to keep up with my postings but sometimes you can only do so much in a day plus recently things got really busier than usual that we weren't able to sneak in outfit shoots.  :(

Anyway, on to my outfit: You can never go wrong with denims because it can easily be paired to anything plus it never goes out of style. Wore this to a full day of strolling around BGC and Nuvali under the intense heat of the sun. You wont feel any cooler unless you're wearing a bathing suit i swear.

My first post this April! It's been a while huh? Been very busy since that Holy Week, joined a camp (which was great!) and lots of things took place that I wasn't able to sit and blog again. Enough excuses and on to my blog already: Wore this to a shoot last Friday with some students of De La Salle University for a brand feature (from the company I work in) in the Animo magazine. Boy I miss being a student so much, that walking around their school made me feel old. :/ So anyway, it was really hot that day, hence my iced tea that turned into a prop. Summer is definitely unleashing its sun power already here in the Philippines and yes, Im wearing a leather skirt. :I No, not a biggie really cause i think its pretty (a gift from le boyfriend <3) and i dont think any outfit can beat the intense heat, not unless in a swimsuit jumping off the beach!

Good thing there's a little bit of air, you see the fringes move with me! Haha. About the top I'm wearing, it was actually an old dress from years back that i bout from the sale. For most of the time, I use it as a top.

From Gray to Black

Yay! First of all, I'm so happy that it's going to be a long weekend for those working peeps here in Ph because of the Holy Week. And as for yours truly, can't wait to spend those free days in our church's camp!

Anyway, as for this post I know I am wearing the same pullover dress from here but I just can't help having my photos in it and show how well it goes with a pair of wedge sneakers and sunnies. One lazy-dress-up-day but don't want to look like it? Here you go!

Must have for SS 2013? Definitely something with black and white patterns. Evidences were seen on the fashion runways from designers like Mickael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Balmain and eventually on the covers of the magazines like Vogue, InStyle, Dansk and our very own Preview (local mag).

So as for this outfit I'm wearing, obviously I was inspired by the trend. Well, for me, it's always good to be inspired by what's the latest and follow trends, what makes it extra special and different in a way is by making it your own. And by that I meant about injecting your personal style considering factors like your body type, comfort, occasion, weather, etc.

Sported this look on a Saturday with friends (eat out then home hang-out). Considering the activities (if you may call them that) we're about to do that day, I made sure to keep everything casual yet edgy by paring up the bold striped top (super old) over a pair of studded-black-denim cut-offs from and my favorite overused kicks. For those living in Manila like me, I know you're feeling that intense summer heat as well so make sure to always bring out those stylish sunnies for a little protection and extra statement. As for this instance, thought that my "Meteor" spectacles from Rayban I just scored from the recent Rima Sale, would do the work for me.

So given that I'm wearing a camo top above a pair of black leggings with leatherette line details in the side + aviators and studs details on my bag, it's just right that I'm naming this post - TOUGH. And because I consider myself a tough girl even though I don't look like it physically.

I wore this to a normal day at work in the office and then of course since I did field work as well, I was able to pose in front of the camera for this outfit shots. Anyway, I always like coming up wit outfits containing borrowed-from-the-boys elements, it just make the look more edgy. I love this parking space, a perfect place to take photos!

Neon Line

Wore this outfit last Sunday to Church and then to movies in the afternoon with ze boyfriend. Love this top I got before from the Forever 21 sale at 75% off - such a steal! Since the past few days are getting hotter and hotter, you always have to bring those protection for the eyes. As for this one, I got it from SM Accessories in a cheap price as well. You see fashion isn't always about the labels, it doesn't require expensive clothes and accessories. Most important element is you and how you carry them.
